I was asked to brand the 2014 Run for Respect, a 5k walk and fun run put on by Chico State’s recreation center. The event was branded to be welcoming for all the students of our diverse campus.
I wanted to emphasize the run’s goals, which were to promote respect through physical activity and service, and promote awareness for social inequalities. The colors are vibrant yet inviting, and the hands reinforce the teamwork and acceptance that our organization wanted to promote. The circular format of the seal not only refers to the nature of a race, but represents unity and wholeness.
